TRIAD

This project is composed of three small buildings. The Research Pavilion houses testing and research facilities for Harmonic Drive Systems, Inc. The Gallery Pavilion is dedicated to the exhibition and storage of artist Yoshikuni Iida's works. The Gate House guards the entrance to the site. These volumes reflect greenery in summer and are covered with snow in winter. Their complex geometry not a typological architectural form. Rather, it is an indeterminate combination of rectangles and smooth curves.
